Issues

Python 3.11 changes to asyncio makes this module incompatible

Generally speaking the asyncio.coroutine decorator and yield from is no longer supported in Python 3.11 version of asyncio.

error: TypeError: sleep() got an unexpected keyword argument 'loop' This may be caused by the removal of loop parameter in later versions of python. Can you optimize it?

These is quite all I want to edit till the moment. - no asyncio.coroutine decorator - the latest async_timeout version support - unittests are done with the pytest_asyncio plugin - formated with black - checked with mypy.

If it's ok it would be nice to get it at pypi as well ;)
